My wife bought me a new XPS 15 for Christmas to replace the old XPS M1530 that the screen went on the fritz.

I heart my wife :)

Coming back from a business trip this month, I powered on my XPS and saw that the colors on my laptop display where all wierd. When I connected an external monitor (via VGA) and LCD screen (via HDMI), I notice that the colours were ok (thankfully, else it would require an entire new motherboard.

So I contacted the local DELL repair shop and asked em to quote on a replacement screen. Waiting on their reply. The cost will determine if I change the screen or buy a new laptop.

Time is ticking down to my departure next week to my first Blizzcon.

For those how are not aware of what Blizzcon is , it is a conference held by Blizzard, a video game development company. It three main game franchisees are Warcraft , Starcraft and Diablo. Since I am an avid World Of Warcraft player, I will be going this year.

After 3 weeks of in and out of the dealership, my car is finally fixed. YaY!

My Corsa is in the shop so my good friend Chris lent me his Defender to drive. I'm not a fan of large vehicles but everyone else seems to like it alot.

Site went down and I had to rebuild it again. Luckily the CMS is fairly painlesss to setup and reconfigure.
